THE EXPERIENCE
About this event
The 14th annual ZooRun takes over Zoo Miami on Saturday, November 14, 2026, and headlines with the inaugural ZooRun Half Marathon. The 13.1 mile course covers the full 10K and 5K routes then adds 7 miles through the zoo's rare Pine Rocklands and outer perimeter, mixing paved pathways with natural unpaved terrain. Runners can also choose the 10K, 5K, ZooKidsDash or a virtual 5K or 10K. Every registration supports the Zoo Miami Foundation and its conservation and education work. ZooKidsDash, 5K and 10K entrants get zoo admission on race day with their bib, 50 percent off admission for friends and family, a themed race shirt, a finisher medal, and entry to the Finish Festival and Beer Garden with local restaurants, beer, music and dancing. Half marathon registration is limited and expected to sell out. Zoo Miami is Florida's largest zoo, in southwest Miami-Dade near Florida's Turnpike and SW 152nd Street. Parking is free, the grounds are large and mostly outdoors, so wear comfortable shoes, bring water, and plan for the South Florida sun or a passing rain shower.
