About this event
Zoo Lights Miami opens the zoo after dark on select nights from November 27 through December 30, 2026, for a walk through holiday spectacle glowing with more than one million lights. The path includes a 26 foot tall LED holiday tree, themed photo spots, yuletide carolers, music, letters to Santa, character meet and greets, an animal presentation at the Sami Family Amphitheater, and appearances by Santa through December 23. Opening night on Friday, November 27 features a tree lighting ceremony at 7:00 PM. A brand new train ride and holiday shopping at the gift shop are available for additional fees.

Select nights only, 6:30 PM to 10:00 PM: November 27 and 28, then December 4, 5, 11, 12, 18 through 23, and 26 through 30, 2026. Tree lighting is at 7:00 PM on opening night, Friday, November 27. Admission
All ages. Regular daytime zoo admission does not cover Zoo Lights, which needs its own ticket. Animals may be resting and may not be visible, since animal viewing is not the primary feature of this event. Zoo Miami's FAQ covers date changes, member discounts, Safari Cycle rentals and stroller or wheelchair rentals.
