AdmissionIncluded with zoo admission at no extra charge. Day admission is 25.95 dollars plus tax for adults 13 and up and 21.95 dollars plus tax for children 3 to 12, rising October 1, 2026 to 30 dollars including tax for adults and 26 dollars including tax for children. Children 2 and under are free, zoo members are free, and parking is free.

About this event

Zoo Boo is South Florida's kid friendly trick or treating weekend at Zoo Miami, running Saturday, October 24 and Sunday, October 25, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM both days. Families come in costume for trick or treating with orangutan friendly candy, a costume contest with prizes, inflatables, yard games, magic shows, a DJ and game master, the Elite Hoops basketball trailer, and community sponsor booths with activities and giveaways. Kids also get to watch the zoo's animals receive their own Halloween treats. Everything is included with regular zoo admission.

Schedule

Two days, Saturday, October 24 and Sunday, October 25, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM each day. The zoo is open until 5:00 PM those days, so you can keep exploring after Zoo Boo activities wrap. Zoo Miami notes it is still adding details, so check the event page closer to the date.

Admission

All ages welcome, but the trick or treat experience is for ages 12 and under. No refunds and no rainchecks. Candy served is orangutan friendly, chosen to avoid unsustainably farmed palm oil.
