1.1 Get Your Ticket

Get Your Ticket provides organizers, producers, promoters, presenters, owners and managers (“Organizers”) of events, venues and other activities (“Events”) with services to promote and sell reservations, tickets, memberships, certificates, admissions, donations and other confirmations to Patrons. Get Your Ticket is incorporated as Up In Code Inc., an Alberta corporation located at 350N - 8500 Macleod Trail, Calgary, Alberta, Canada T2H 2N1 (“Company,” “Get Your Ticket,” “Up In Code,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

1.2 Services

Get Your Ticket’s websites, domains, applications, APIs, and mobile apps (collectively, “Services”) allow Organizers and Patrons to interact with Events. References to “you,” “your,” or “User” may include Organizers, Patrons or visitors.

2. Our Privacy Statement

2.1 Application

This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, store, and protect Personal Data—information relating to an identifiable person. Non-Personal Data does not identify a person and is not governed by this policy.

We take your privacy seriously. When using the Services, we may also collect Non-Personal Data. This Privacy Policy governs only Personal Data.

3. Personal Data That We Collect

When you interact with the Services, we may collect Personal Data as described below.

3.1 Online Users

Personal information typically includes name, phone number, and email. We collect Personal Data you voluntarily provide (e.g., registrations, surveys, inquiries). Patrons registering for paid events provide payment information which may be Personal Data. Organizers may collect additional information through event registration forms. We may also receive Patron data from Organizers, social media, banks, or third-party platforms.

4.1 Specific Reason

Personal Data is used for the purpose for which it was provided, such as responding to an inquiry.

4.2 Access and Use

We use Personal Data to provide you with access to Services and monitor usage.

4.3 Internal Business Purposes

This includes improving Services, fraud prevention, enforcing Terms of Service, customer support, and business operations.

4.4 Marketing

With your consent, we may send marketing emails or SMS messages. Third-party advertising partners may deliver interest-based ads using cookies or tracking technologies.

4.5 Organizer Communications

You may receive communications from Organizers for events you register for. Organizer communications are governed by applicable laws and their own policies.

5.1 No Sale

We do not sell your Personal Data to third parties.

5.2 Business Transfers

Personal Data may be shared within our corporate family under this Privacy Policy.

Data submitted during event registration is shared with the applicable Organizer.

6. How We Store Your Personal Data

Personal Data may be stored by us or authorized third parties. We use reasonable security measures but cannot guarantee absolute security.

Registered users may access, update, or delete data via account settings or by emailing our support team.

8. How Long We Retain Data

We retain Personal Data while your account remains active and as required by law or legitimate business needs.

(A) Get Your Ticket Marketing Communications
All marketing emails include an unsubscribe link.

(B) Organizer Communications
Organizers must also provide unsubscribe options.

(C) Social Notifications
Adjust privacy settings or disconnect integrations.

(D) Transactional Communications
You will still receive essential communications such as ticket confirmations.

(E) Retention
Unsubscribing does not delete your Personal Data; Organizers may still contact you per their own policies.

9.3 Do Not Track

We do not respond to Do Not Track signals.

10. Exclusions

10.1 Data Provided to Others

This policy does not govern Personal Data shared with Organizers or other users.

10.2 Third-Party Links

We are not responsible for third-party site policies or practices.

10.3 Aggregated Personal Data

Aggregated, anonymized data may be compiled for research and is not considered Personal Data.

11. Children

We do not knowingly collect Personal Data from children under 13.

12. International Privacy Laws

Personal Data may be transferred to Canada or the United States and governed by this policy.

13. Privacy Policy Changes

We may update this policy periodically. Continued use of the Services constitutes acceptance of any changes.
